Objective:-

  • Awareness to community of tuberculosis. Through various awareness activity.
  • Collection of sputum expected patient.
  • Lab testing of sputum and identify of positive patient.
  • To positive case’s to Linkage of DOT treatment.

Main Out Come:-

  • 780 expected patient’s sputum collection and tested.
  • 41 patients found sputum positive.
  • The patients found were treated with the Dot method for treatment.

2. Name of Project – Projecting health Project

Community Served – Community-led Video Education to Increase Vaccination Coverage in Fatehpur : A Cluster-Randomized, Controlled Trial

Objective:-

  • Video making by community Support.
  • Dissemination of video through ASHA.
  • Quality Community advisory Board Meeting.
  • Data feeding and advocacy.

Main Out Come:-

  • 12 Videos product related to immunization subject.
  • Targeted 24759 beneficiaries watched videos on various platforms.
  • Health related issues of hundreds targeted areas were resolved in 12 meetings of the Community Advisory Board.
  • Capacity increase has been done in 3 phases of 78 schemes, which could facilitate project operations.
  • Vaccination of hundreds of vaccinated and non-vaccination beneficiaries were vaccinated.
  • 78 maternal committees, 78 Adolescence groups formed and 3744 times were displayed in video and 24759 beneficiaries were reached.

3. Project Name- Empowerment of Dalit and Women through right based approach.

Project brief:-

  • Empowerment of scheduled caste community women by formation of women SHGs/ CBOs, building their capacity for ensuring their participation in panchayat and entitlement realization (Land rights, MNREGA) and addressing their livelihood issues by providing training on income generation activities is the main goal of the programme.
  • Project is operational in 30 villages of 15 gram panchayats of block- Bhitora in district Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh and 3000 scheduled caste, Muslim and OBC household are directly involved in the following project activities -Vegetable farming, Bee Keeping, Mushroom production, Rope making, Formation of Grain Banks; Ensuring possession of socially excluded people on homestead lands; Facilitating target community to gain assets under MNREGA.
  • Provided training of vegetable production to 15 SHGs comprising 70 percent members from scheduled caste and thirty percent from other backward castes with support of agricultural scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). Provided monetary support of Rupees 10000 to each group to purchase agri inputs and tools.
  • Trained 100 scheduled caste women of 10 SHGs from 10 villages in rope and basket making from locally available natural long grass. Provided monetary support of Rupees 10000 to each group to resume business and now each women is earning Rupees 3000/- to 6000/- from selling their products in markets.
  • Provided Beekeeping training to SC and poor women of 10 groups. Presently every group is having 10 beehives boxes and getting income of rupees 20000/- to 40000 per annum by selling honey.
  • Organization provided training of mushroom cultivation to 50 SC households and distributed spam and chemicals free of cost after the training. Beneficiaries are now selling their produce in the markets of Fatehpur and getting good income. Many other groups have also taken up this activity.
  • Provided monetary support of rupees 1000/- to 64 SC marginalized farmers to purchase high quality hybrid paddy seeds. Now they are getting high yield from paddy cultivation and able to purchase seeds and other agri inputs for next crops.
  • Development of Grain banks – organization facilitated SC household for the formation of Grain banks in the project area. The main objective this activity is providing nutritional support to the very poor SC families. It prevents them from falling into the clutches of moneylenders. 
  • Food processing and preservation training programme- In this activity training of fruit and vegetable processing and preservation was given to 75 SC women of 15 SHGs. Beneficiaries are now making pickles, sauce, jelly and sharbhats of different fruits and vegetables. Organization facilitated them to develop market linkages and now they are getting good benefits after selling their products.
  • Livelihood generation through MNREGA – Organization ensured livelihood of 13357 SC males and females by facilitating them to get job cards. They demanded work under the scheme and got work of 200355 days. Now ever job card holder is demanding 100 days work.

Project brief:-

  • Main objective of this programme was to improve the occupational skills and technical knowledge of the scheduled caste, Muslim and others back ward caste adolescent girls and women from BPL households.The programme was organized in villages – Amoli, Santhigava and Devri Buzurg (Block- Amoli) in district Fatehpur. Socially excluded women from 15 villages of the block Amoli participated in the programme.
  • 120 women and adolscent girls of socially excluded community got training of ‘Soft Toy Making’ from expert trainers. They were registered with employment exchange to get credit facility to start their own venture.
  • 60 women and adolescent girls of socially excluded community got three months training of ‘Fruit preservation and processing.’ from expert trainers.

5. Project title – Kishori Shakti Yojna (Adolescent Girls Scheme)

Project brief:-

  • The main objective of this programme was to provide technical skill training & education to marginalized and socially excluded adolescent girls to enhance their income and awareness.
  • This programme was implemented in two gram panchayats of development block Amoli in district Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. 60 adolescent girls of scheduled caste and Muslim community got training of tailoring, cutting and embroidery during the programme. They were trained to stitch ladies suits, blouses, shirts etc. Organization encouraged the trainees to start their own ventures and provided job placement to 25 trainees.

6. Project title – Schedule Caste Youth Vocational Training Programme

Project brief:-

  • Main objective of the project is to provide vocational training to unemployed youth of scheduled caste community and provide them job placement.The programme was implemented in Nevadi tehseel of district TikamGarh in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Six monthly training of two wheeler repairing was given to 22 youths of scheduled caste community. After the programme trained youth were placed in different automobile workshops and companies.
  • Electrician training progamme was organised in Nevadi tehseel of district TikamGarh in Madhya Pradesh. 31 unemployed youth were trained to repair different electric appliances and home wiring.
  • Organization extended support to the trainees and facilitated them in getting suitable job according to their skills after the completion of vocational course. It organized job camps and invited employers to its office after the completion of training. It also encouraged the trainees to start their own small scale ventures and in this pursuit, it helped the trained candidates in getting credit facility from rural banks and other financial institutions.

7. Integrated Nutrition & Health programme

Project Objectives:-

To bring about decline in maternal and infant mortality rate. Programme was conducted by the support of CARE- India from 2003 to 2005 I all the 13 development blocks of Fatehpur district to reduce the maternal and infant mortality rate. The programme envisaged co-ordination amongst various departments active at the village level with Panchayat for capacity building of service providers, and activating Panchayat’s committee.

Outcomes:-

  • 1385 Awanwadi and 325 ANMs were trained in their skills and documentation.
  • Inoculation rate enhanced from 17% to 65 %.
  • Use of IFA increased from 20 to 65 %.
  • Behavioral modification from 3% to 98%.
  • 1385 mother committees were formed.

8. Reproductive and Child Health Nutrition and AIDS (RACHNA)

Project Objectives:-

To bring about decline in maternal and infant mortality rate and aware community for RTI/STI/HIV/AIDS  control and management diseases.  Programme was conducted by the support of CARE- India from 2005 to 2008. I all the 13 development blocks of Fatehpur district to reduce the maternal and infant mortality rate. aware community for RTI/STI/HIV/AIDS  control and management diseases. The programme envisaged co-ordination amongst various departments active at the village level with Panchayat for capacity building of service providers, and activating Panchayat’s committee.

Outcomes:-

  • Selection of  5760 reproductive health change agents for spreading awareness on HIV AIDS, RTI & STI.
  • Construction of depots in all Anganwadi centres for storing reproductive health materials.
  • Setting up referral system on RTI/STI/HIV/AIDS.
  • Setting up KAVACH help line.
  • Holding 39 camps for providing counseling and checkup related to RTI/STI.
  • Capacity building of 1385 AWW & 325 ANMs.
  • Social marketing of family planning materials.
  • Proper conduct meetings in 1385 mother committees for bringing behavioral changes.
  • Activation of 786 village health committee.

9. Sajha Sakshamta Programme

Project Objectives:-

To bring about decline in maternal and infant mortality rate.

Outcomes:-

Coverage of immunisation for bringing down maternal and infant mortality rate in the coverage area has gone up. The prospective mothers are taking balanced diet. Not only trained birth attendants are attending to deliveries, but also safe deliveries, institutional deliveries and deliveries at sub-centre are increasing. Infants are immediately being given mother’s milk. Infants are being weighted. They are not being bathed to prevent them from hypothermia. Instead they are being wiped with clean cotton cloth and covered with cotton cloth. Infants are now wearing clothes.

Women and adolescent girls have become aware about maternal and child health. The community has also become aware of women and men, and adolescent boys and girls programmes.

10. Iodine deficiency disorder

Project Objectives:-

In seven development blocks of Hamirpur district increase in the use of iodine and awareness generation regarding ill effects of iodine deficiency in the body.

Results:-

Probability of the use of iodised salt by the community has increased to prevent iodine deficiency disorders. The community has come to realise that by using iodised salt, one can save himself, or herself from ill effects of iodine deficiency.
With the cooperation of all the departments, this programme has made the community aware of the usage of iodised salt so that the children are not healthy without any physical or mental disability, adolescent girls are not infertile and adults are not suffering from disease like goitre.
Shopkeepers have also been motivated to sell iodised salt as a result of which not only in the city, but also amongst the community, level of usage of iodised salt has increased.

11. Innovative Health Enhancement Project

To bring about requisite decline in the maternal and infant mortality rate in the localities in the Ganga flood area, where no government or non-governmental institution is working and which is illiterate, poor and resourceless.

12. Tara Akshar Eduction Center

Project Objectives:-

Tara Akshar is a computer based training in which poor illiterate women are made literate within 30 days.

Results/Successes:-

  • Women are now able to read and write
  • Capacity to take self decision has increased among women
  • Artistic sense among women has increased
  • Women have now started giving importance to education
  • Self-awakening has developed among women and they are coming forward to take different kinds of information
  • Women are able to read easy text and are also able to tell about the same to other women and children.

13. Integrated community development project

Twenty-one villages in Lohari nyaya panchayat in Bhitaura development block of Fatehpur district: Lohari, Gadhiwa, Agnihotripur, Alawalpur, Saraidadira, Adar, Thariwa, Murain Ka Purwa, Sihar, Lodhaura, Ramshala, Mahewa, Rampur, Dayalpur, Devranar, Pureshuda, Garhi, Ferozepur, Fatehabad, Wari and Narepar

Project Objectives:-

To organise weaker, exploited, deprived and backward communities and make them aware of their rights and duties so they may make their lives happy and prosperous through advocacy and their own efforts

Results/Successes:-

  • 21 Community Based Organisations  named Gram Vikas Sameetti.( Village level forum),21 Yuva Mandals ,01 Gram Vikas Sangh ( Block level forum)have been constituted in the project area
  • People have become aware regarding panchayats. As a result of the voter awareness campaign, people did not favour of any candidate and the results were quite unexpected. Considerable influence of the members supporting various people based organisations was visible in these elections.
  • 32 Gram pradhans, 157 panchayat members and 8 kshettra panchayat members and 03 Jila panchyat member are from the community based organisations and they are providing satisfactory leadership
  • 21 Gran bank for internal support in disaster in.
  • 15 SHG are trained in masroom cultivation, 10 SHG are trained vegetable cultivation and 20 SHG are trained Ban udhyog.
  • Surveillance & vigilance on NREGA, PDS, MDM, Anganwadi & Social Security.
  • Issuance of Job cards to 317 left-outs.
  • 13357 Job card holders demanded work.
  • 35 Differently enabled persons were linked with NREGA.
  • 12 RTI application send for various department.
  • Constitution of 37 self help groups. Out of the proceeds of monthly savings, problems of community are being solved

  • Awareness about health issues at the community level
  • Identity of the programme in government and non-government departments
  • Capacity building of Asha, angawadi, ANM and panchayat representatives
  • Formation of 64 Health and Sanitation Committees in 3 Development Blocks of Raebareli District.And guidance to VHSC member utilize Rs.640000.00 Untied fund for the propose maternal and child health.
  •  In this committee conducted 786 monthly meting and 11520 member are participate in this meeting.
  • Formation of Emergency Vehicle Committee at village level by the above committee.
  • Agreement on enhancing institutionalized child delivery up to 80%.
  • Reviewing the performance of service providers by the committees on their own.
  • Implementation of health activities in accordance with the work plan.
