About NYST

Nehru Yuwa Sangathan-Tisi was founded in village Tisi, Haswa Block of  Fatehpur district in UP for the purpose of organizing the rural unemployed youth leading by the founder Rajendra Prasad Sahu. The main aim of the organization is to engage rural & urban youth in various constructive and creative ways by first making them self dependent to be further able to make concerted efforts to bring about the desired social change in which women, children and the deprived sections of our society are aware of their rights as also know the ways and means of protecting and realizing their right for  all-round development.

The organization  become a legal entity in 1997. For  past 7 years, prior to its registration NYST propagated the ideology of the Nehru Yuwa Kendra Sangathan  (an autonomous institution GOI) organizing for youth of  rural and urban areas on its own, unaided by any outside donor. But with the co-operation and support of the youth and the community at large to make the youth self-dependent through capacity building, leadership and entrepreneurship training. The organization is presently working is various district of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh for the all round development of the socially excluded and deprived people.
